Proper management of the resources in the Barents Sea and the Norwegian Sea would not be possible without reliable statistics on the live marine resources in these waters.

Quotas
Catches

Norway and Russia report catch data continuously to the International Council for Exploration of the Sea (ICES), which then makes use of this data in its recommendations for TAC.

On our Norwegian and Russian site, you can download statistics:

Catch data for the joint stocks (cod, haddock, capelin and Greenland halibut) in the Barents Sea and the Norwegian Sea, submitted by Norway and Russia to the ICES from 2000 onwards;
Accumulated operative catch data for the joint stocks in the Barents Sea and the Norwegian Sea are submitted monthly by Norway and Russia to the ICES for the current period.
